The Pentagon today announced it has tested a ground-based cruise missile that went over 500 kilometers. That means it was a weapon that was banned under the INF treaty. Putin and Trump have been gunning to destroy INF, and now it looks official.
Data from the missile test will be used to refine weapons development, the Pentagon says.
